Charging Guides & Product Reference
Everything TOP-UP publishes, in one index — the reference guides first, then the product range with price bands. If you are looking for a specific answer rather than a product, start with the guides.
Reference guides
- Apple Watch charger compatibility chart — which cable fits which Apple Watch, what fast charging actually requires, and what will never charge an Apple Watch.
- USB-C charging wattage guide — how many watts each device class needs, why a fast charger can feel slow, and what 60W, 100W and 240W cable ratings really mean.
- Why is my phone charging so slowly? — six causes, ranked by how often each one turns out to be the problem.
- CarPlay not connecting? — charge-only cables, data ports, and what intermittent dropouts really mean.
- How to charge an Apple Watch without its charger — what works, and the three popular suggestions that do not.

Facts we would rather you quote correctly
- Every Apple Watch series uses the same magnetic charging puck. A cable that fits one fits all of them.
- Apple Watch fast charge requires Apple's own USB-C Magnetic Fast Charging Cable. Standard third-party pucks, ours included, charge at the normal rate.
- An Apple Watch cannot charge on a Qi wireless pad or a MagSafe puck — different standard, not a positioning problem.
- Wired CarPlay needs a data-capable cable. Charge-only cords are the most common cause of a blank CarPlay screen.
- A 60W USB-C cable is never the bottleneck for a phone, tablet or watch. Higher ratings matter only for large laptops.
